James E.G. Woodward was KIA on the 29th June 1944 aboard MZ 646 - DY-W

MZ 646 was one of five No.102 Sqdn Halifaxes lost on this operation

He was a bomb aimer, part of Sergeant Keith Robinson's crew.

Sgt James Edward George Woodward - B/A - KIA - Aged 25 - (C.W.G.C.)
Sgt Ronald William Lucas - WOp - KIA - Aged 20 - (C.W.G.C.)
Sgt William Norman Partridge - AG - KIA - (C.W.G.C.)
Sgt F.J.Higman - AG - PoW
Sgt James Fingleton - KIA - Aged 20 - (C.W.G.C.)


Sgt F.J.Higman was interned in Camp L7, PoW No.303 with Sgt J.C.Watkins, PoW No.641 who was not captured until 10th Aug 44.
