Eddie was involved in an accident on the 23rd Oct 1942, which was NOT his fault at all... but resulted in the death of two 102 airmen, W/C Sydney Bintly and F/O Arthur Graham.

This incident is not what Eddie Berry should be remembered for, he was a brave pilot who served his country well.
